The Advanced Engineering Division

The Advanced Engineering Division (AED) is a specialised branch of Andromeda Industries. The division was formed to carry out CNC Machining, Research and Development, Design and Prototyping in the Aerospace and Defence sectors.

The Advanced Engineering Division has full implementation of both JAS-ANZ ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management system and AS9100B Aerospace Quality Management System to ensure its customers only recieve the highest quality services.

News - September, 2009

The Advanced Engineering Division has taken delivery of its new DMG CTX Beta 1250TC. The CTX Beta will further expand AED's capabilities allowing the manufacture of components requiring 3+2 Axis Mill Turning.

The Advanced Engineering Division received AS9100B accreditation. The registration covers the quality management system for machining of components. 

News - November, 2008

Pre-Auditing of the AS9100 Aersopace Quality Management System will take place. This is just one step for the AED to complete in it's goal of achieving AS 9100 certification.

News - October, 2008

The Advanced Engineering Divsion has taken delivery of its new Brown and Sharpe Co-ordinate Measuring machine. CMM will expand the capabilities of the division and allow dimensional verification and reverse engineering services.
